1. Applicability: General terms apply to all active and previously active Akora promotional programs
  2. Acceptance: By using or attempting to use the redemption code for an offer, you agree to accept and be bound by these terms and conditions.
  3. Offer Period: Promotions are only available for a limited time only, for as long as it is advertised by Akora on our website, social profiles or within the Akora web-app ( Akora has the right to cancel or change any promotion at any time without notice and in its sole discretion.
  4. Payment: For the promotions incentive to be valid and credited to a referrer, the referring user must have verified their personal identity and have entered their valid bank disbursement details Akora web-app.
  5. Number of Accounts: A user, client, tenant or owner is not permitted to hold any more than one active web-app account, eligibility for any/all promotional programs is then limited to a single, one-sided use per individual. Multiple accounts cannot be created for the effect of profiteering from the promotional program and would be considered abuse if used as such.
  6. Existing Users: Existing users are not eligible for new sign-up bonuses however are eligible for receiving the benefits of referring new users.
  7. Abuse: If abuse outside of the original intent of the promotional program is suspected, Akora reserves the right to withhold the credit from any promotional incentive and deactivate the associated account(s). Any credit obtained via abuse of the promotional program is required to be returned to Akora in full.
  8. Catchment: For the promotion to be considered valid, the referred user’s property to be managed must be within Akora’s operating catchment, which is currently the inner Perth metropolitan area (subject to change without notice). If a property is referred outside of this area the credit from the referral will be delayed until this property is brought under management of Akora.

Specific Promotion: Referral Program, Code: Unique to Each User

  1. a. A referral is successful and therefore valid for the $150 credit (or equal service value) once the referred party signs up to Akora via the web-app, a Management Agreement is signed between the referred party and Akora, and that a rent payment has occurred whilst under Akora’s management.
    b. It is expected that a rent payment will occur within a 30 day period of the referred party signing the MA through the Akora platform.
    c. If a rent payment does not occur within 30 days, the credit to the referring party may be delayed at Akora’s discretion until this condition is met.
    d. If the Management Agreement is terminated by either party prior to all conditions being met in full, the referred and referring party’s credits from the referral program are no longer valid.
    e. Credit payouts will occur within 10 business days of all conditions being met.
  2. Fair use is expected, utilising the referral program to credit existing users with credit that does not result or intended to result in a new property being managed by Akora is considered abuse.
  3. Akora may terminate your participation in the Program at any time, for any or no reason. The rights and obligations of the parties under these Terms will survive the expiration or termination of this Agreement.
  4. Akora is not responsible for anything written by the referring user within the “custom message” form when generating the referral invite via email.
  5. If the referring party has 1 or more properties under active management of Akora at the time the referral is valid for crediting, the credit will be in the form of a single month’s free management via Akora to the value of $150 AUD and applied to a property's ledger (under the referring user’s account) of Akora’s choosing. If the user has no properties under Akora’s management at the time of a successful referral, the credit will be in the form of $150 AUD that is deposited into the referrer’s bank account.
  6. The referring’s unique referral code must be used on immediate sign-up of the referred user’s first and only account in order for this specific promotion to be applied for consideration.

Specific Promotion: Akora Launch Promotion, Code: LAUNCH2020

  1. Promotion is only valid for the number of properties to be immediately managed by Akora at the time of user account registration for the web-app and does not apply to additional properties added by the user at a later date.
  2. The code LAUNCH2020 must be used on immediate sign-up of the user first and only account in order for this specific promotion to be applied for consideration.
  3. Akora reserves the right to revoke this promotion if the Management Agreement between the property owner and Akora is terminated within 30 days of signing by both parties.
